Took a while a few runs to get going for this yard but has now scored on three of his last four starts for them. Last two wins have come in claimers and he now drops in grade again back on a surface he acts well on; well weighted in relation to most.

Consistent sort here as his form figures of 333 would suggest although his last few starts on other AW surfaces have left a little to be desired. A return to Fibresand may spark a revival but he's second/third best at the weights; now visored.

Largely below form since scoring in a Windsor handicap off a much higher mark but his rating has now declined in line with his ability. Just added to his already patchy record last time and still relatively unproven on Fibresand.

His form at best is modest and he's finished well held in his last three starts the last of which was some time ago. Sure to need this outing and has a very stiff task at the weights.

Showed some useful form as a juvenile and had won on his AW (Tapeta) debut despite not having the run of the race. Very lightly raced since and obviously had issues he now starts life for a new yard significantly down in grade on a new surface.

Cheap purchase who ran to a poor level on her debut on Tapeta over 7f. Looked inexperienced on that occasion and will know more here but unlikely to make an impression.

Verdict

Hardly any strength in depth here but it provides a good chance for CAPTAIN LARS to add to his burgeoning tally for Archie Watson. Classic Pursuit handles this surface but he’s not been in much form of late and faces a demanding task at the weights if the official ratings are taken as a guide. Rozy Boys is of interest for his new yard having shown some good form as a juvenile and his trainer Ruth Carr is good at rejuvenating this type and any market support should be noted.
