Winner on the Flat at a modest level and off the track 18 months since his last run so likely to need this.
Has made little impression in any of his starts although his latest run was a step in the right direction.

Modest form in bumper and maiden hurdle for Joseph O'Brien. Bought by new connections for £4,000 in November. Has done little in two starts for new yard and he may want a sounder surface.

Has struggled in two bumpers and on hurdling debut. Hard to fancy on all current evidence and with yard 1-94 with jumpers in past five seasons.

Was clear of a modest bunch when coming down at the last on his final start in Ireland. Off the track eight months and has since joined top yard for £6,000. Likely to have improved and handles any ground so one to watch for clues in the market.

Flat form was in decline until dropped to a mark of 63 last time. That would not necessarily be good enough to win most races at this level, but he is in good hands and the market will be informative.
7
Horse silk
33/1
Victorious over 1m6f on the AW in September and blinkers worn then are left off here. That is also the case here and he may be one for handicaps on a sounder surface.
8
Horse silk
50/1
Rated 72 on the Flat, and left Hughie Morrison for 10,000 gns in November. Runner up on hurdles/stable debut at Musselburgh in December, but predictably outclassed by Silver Concorde. More modest next time, and might not want testing conditions.
10
Horse silk
100/1
Showed promise on bumper debut last summer but has failed to progress as hoped. May need handicaps and a stiffer test before fulfilling his potential.

8/13
Half-brother to three winners and off the mark himself in a good Warwick bumper despite looking green. Bled on hurdling debut and turned in a clumsy round of jumping here last time. Will get few easier opportunities, but he does carry some risks.
12

From a family that this yard have done well with in the past, but she has failed to shine in any of her three starts so far.

Not disgraced in two bumpers, and showed a little ability in two Plumpton novice hurdles. Open to improvement and not out of it in a weak race.

Pirate Look142

11/1
77-rated middle distance performer on the Flat, where he handles soft ground. No jumping winners in his pedigree, so this is a step into the unknown on his first start for this trainer. A market check would be prudent.

Winner on the flat for Ed Walker and achieved a rating of 79. Has shown little aptitude for hurdling so far and a watching brief is advised.

16/1
Decent handicapper on the Flat (won over an extended 1m2f from a mark of 76) but failed to justify favouritism when last of six finishers on hurdling debut at Hereford. Made an error that day which unsettled him, but he would prefer better ground.

Verdict

A few of these have something to prove and in particular World Premier who burst a blood vessel on his hurdling debut before jumping poorly here last time. He makes little appeal at what will probably be too short a price for the risks he carries. Pirate Look and Lungarno Palace are interesting recruits from the Flat who are worth monitoring in the market. The odds will probably tell us more about the prospects of LEOMAR who debuts for Dan Skelton. The Irish import was unlucky not to win on his last start and this looks equally as modest as that event.
