Winning point-to-pointer who has made a good impression in three starts over hurdles. Chased home a leading Cheltenham Festival fancy at a respectful distance at Haydock last time and that form makes him very much the one to beat.
Kadastrof gelding whose dam won twice in point-to-points and is a half-sister to 2m7f chase winner Silver Commander. Well-beaten second behind a long odds-on shot over C&D on his racecourse debut, but showed ability and should improve.
Has shown promise in a couple of starts over hurdles, most recently when third to a fair yardstick at Newcastle. In good hands and likely to win a small race, but probably not on this occasion.
Beaten a long way on both starts over timber, including when well behind Dancing Amy at Newcastle last time. Impossble to fancy on what she has shown so far.
Forecasts
Uppertown Prince (2/7), Geronimo (5/1), Dancing Amy (13/2), Rylestone (66/1)
This looks a straightforward task for UPPERTOWN PRINCE, who has shaped well on all three starts over hurdles and was not disgraced behind a very useful sort at Haydock last month. Dancing Amy ran a decent race at Newcastle last time, but Geronimo, who shaped with some promise on debut over C&D, may be the one to chase home the selection. Rylestone looks destined for fourth.
- Uppertown Prince
- Geronimo
- Dancing Amy
