Acquired by Goldophin and Saeed bin Suroor as a four-year-old from France following a modest start to his career. Failed to find the track for previous connections and possibly best watched on first run for over two years.
C&D winner who plundered a Lingfield 6f handicap last month beaten 10 rivals a neck when not unbacked. Clearly in good form and still on a workable mark here.
Has placed on just one occasion over this trip from 11 starts and is only two from 19 at the track. 5lb lower than last winning mark but could find this a tough ask in first-time visor.
75-rated handicapper and winner of one of her six starts on the AW when in the hands of trainer Stuart Williams. Last of 12 on stable debut and easily opposed here.
C&D winner in April 2017 and fourth of 11 beaten 1½L behind Togoville on last start over this trip in December off a 4lb higher mark. Solid and consistent type one for the shortlist.
Ran to a decent level when placed in sprints when trained in France and unraced since the spring of 2016 before finishing fifth of six beaten 6½L on return to the track last month. Worth a market check.
Forecasts
Rivellino (2/1), Mister Dancer (5/2), Iron Ryan (7/2), Ancient Astronaut (8/1), Seanie (10/1), Cherry Kool (12/1), Your Pal Tal (20/1)
Ancient Astronaut could grab the lead from stall four here in the early stages of this contest with Seanie and Cherry Kool in behind advantage can fall to the consistent eight-year-old RIVELLINO who can put a couple of near misses behind him here. Seanie in first-time visor can hit the frame with possibly Ancient Astronaut out running his price back at his favoured trip.
