Formerly very useful 7f performer but not as good nowadays. Last win came over C&D in January 2017 and has been runner-up in four of his subsequent 10 starts. Poor effort over 6f latest and has it to do on recent evidence.
Lightly raced gelding whose only win came in France in 2016. Hasn't stood much racing since and now with his fourth UK trainer. Absent for 279 days and makes debut for new in-form yard.
Won over C&D in October 2015 but on long losing streak. Didn't appear to react well to first-time blinkers most recent start but connections persevere with this headgear. Eased another 1lb but others make more appeal.
Done all his AW winning at Lingfield and Wolverhampton but not disgraced on two previous visits to this track. 1lb lower than latest poor effort at Lingfield and needs to bounce back to figure.
Has won four times over a mile this winter including at this track and duly risen 19lb in the process. Failed to stay 1m2f on hat-trick bid last time and better suited to this trip. May be in handicapper's grip though.
Won twice as a juvenile for Richard Hannon including over C&D but drew a blank last term. First star for new yard and has 123 day absence to overcome. Worth a market check but may be better for the run.
Better on A/W than turf but has five-and-a-half month absence to overcome and ended last term on a low note. Feasibly handicapped but has it to do in competitive event.
Only wins have come at 6f and ended last campaign with two poor efforts. Headgear left off for seasonal return and doesn't leap out as an obvious contender.
Rattled off a fine four-timer in January and has run well all five starts since, including another win at Wolverhampton last month. Looked in handicapper's grip last time and now 3lb higher so has it to do to add to tally.
Useful sprint handicapper a couple of seasons ago but struggled to get his head back in front last term despite falling mark. Ran fair race on first attempt at this trip last time out. Ilb lower here and not out of it.
Finally off the mark in Newcastle 6f maiden in November and run well enough since in defeat. Worth another try at this trip and a decent dispaly certainly not ruled out.
Three wins on turf but slightly less effective and yet to score on A/W. Seven month absence to overcome and overall profile suggests he will most likely come on for the outing.
Coming down the weights and not without a chance if reproducing last two efforts, both at this track. Decent apprentice claims further 3lb and won't be too far away with luck in running.
Three wins over C&D including two this winter. In great heart and bolted up here last time but now raised 9lb. Further improvement not ruled out but may find a few too good for her off this mark.
Forecasts
Magic Mirror (7/2), Envisaging (6/1), Fast Track (7/1), Titan Goddess (8/1), Spare Parts (10/1), Nezar (10/1), Plant Pot Power (10/1), Shyron (12/1), Zlatan (12/1), Mr Bossy Boots (14/1), High Acclaim (16/1), Intransigent (16/1), Illustrissime (20/1), Wink Oliver (33/1)
This is a very tight handicap in which thevote goes to nortehrn raider FAST TRACK who appeared to be suited by the step up in trip when running on at Wolverhampton last month. There are plenty of possible dangers, including the in-form pair of Spare Parts and Magic Mirror, while both Nezar and Envisaging cannot be ruled out if things go their way. The formerly useful Intransigent continues to drop in grade and a revival is certainly not ruled out in this company, if he's in the mood.
- Fast Track
- Envisaging
- Nezar
