Yet to win around here. No doubting that he acts at the track, although he is clearly better at Southwell. Comfortably held here from this mark last time in first-time eye shield and now tongue strap added. Others preferred.
Scored over C&D when 5lb lower in January and has run well in defeat in all three subsequent returns to the track. 4lb rise for recent 1½L defeat over 1m4f won't help and she looks likely to be playing for minor money again.
Both of his AW wins have been over 1m4f on Lingfield's Polytrack surface, though he acted well here when beaten just over 1L in December (1m4f) from 5lb higher. A repeat effort would give him a squeak, though trip doesn't look ideal.
Acts around here as he showed when winning over 1m½f in July from 2lb higher. Not in the best of form just lately, but more interesting now back on this mark and support for him would suggest confidence in a revival.
Best AW efforts have been at Lingfield and Kempton, but has twice won here over 7f, including a handicap in November from 1lb lower. Was beaten just ½L over C&D from today's mark three starts ago and has claims if capable of repeating that effort.
Acts on several different AW surfaces, including here and has won at both Chelmsford and Newcastle this year. Well beaten from this mark at Chelmsford (1m2f) on Tuesday but bounced back at that course Saturday. More on his plate under a penalty.
Inconsistent and has a career record of 1-27 (0-10 on AW). Went close at Newcastle (1m2f) last time from today's mark and ran well here three starts ago. A repeat of either could see him among the prizes, though not certain to produce that.
Saves his best for this track, though given that he is a 16-race maiden that is nothing to get too excited about. Not beaten far in basement grade here last time, but looks up against it.

Forecasts
Sunshineandbubbles (15/8), Dolphin Village (5/1), Outlaw Torn (6/1), Life Of Luxury (6/1), Optima Petamus (8/1), Cat Royale (10/1), Top Offer (11/1), Gone With The Wind (16/1), Captain Revelation (18/1)
Caution is advised here with plenty of inconsistent runners who could win it on their day. With two decent efforts from his last three runs, it might just be worth an interest on OPTIMA PETAMUS to break his maiden tag from a mark off which he has shown that he is competitive. Sunshineandbubbles should be capable of being in the mix again, while Top Offer, stable companion of the selection, is another with possibilities. Given that, a market check where they are concerned looks to be a good idea, while also keeping an eye on Dolphin Village and Cat Royale, who would be interesting if supported.
