Blew his chance at the start last time in a very competitive handicap. Has a great record over the C&D (4/7) and has to be feared down in grade for a trainer in good form.
First run since September after struggling in strong handicaps on the turf. Well weighted on last season's AW form and will be interesting if there is market confidence. Also entered Friday.
Returned from a lengthy absence to complete a hat-trick of wins on the AW. Moving into stronger company now and didn't win with a lot in hand last start, however he is open to improvement.
Not beaten far behind Chevallier over the C&D on his last start for Michael Bell when finding trouble in running. Needs everything to go his way on debut for new stable and may need further.
Lightly-raced and unbeaten in two starts on an AW surface. A physically impressive son of Poet's Voice, he was unsuited by a slow early tempo when last seen at Newbury in July and there should be plenty more to come.
Held by Chevallier over C&D last start when setting the pace. Still has to prove he needs this far and best form has come in lower grades. Also entered Friday.
Behind Chevallier on both runs back and entitled to improve with race fitness. Flew home last start and now 3lb better off for a length defeat. Looks likely to run another good race.
Stable are going well and reversed form with Chevallier when just caught in dying strides over C&D. Tactically versatile and now reunited with winning jockey from Kempton. Looks likely to be involved again.
Forecasts
Humbert (9/4), Sea Fox (11/2), Chevallier (6/1), Towerlands Park (6/1), Franco's Secret (7/1), Mr Minerals (8/1), Constantino (10/1), Poet's Society (10/1)
A very competitive handicap where cases can be made for many and much of the form revolves around Chevallier who should go better with a clean break. However he may struggle to reverse form with SEA FOX who was unlucky not to follow up on his Kempton win when just denied over the C&D and remains on a good mark for an in-form stable. Mr Minerals is open to more improvement than most and should be noted in the betting.
- Sea Fox
- Chevallier
- Mr Minerals
