Well-placed to win four times on turf last season and best effort of the winter last time when beaten less than 3L over 6f at Kempton. Current AW mark looks there to be exploited (10lb less than turf rating).
Four-time turf scorer but yet to win a race on the AW from 10 attempts, though was a good second over 6f here last time out. Won't mind the drop back in trip and likely to be in the mix.
All four wins have come over this C&D, most recently from a 1lb lower mark in December. Interesting that only Nicky Mackay has ridden him to win and he could only manage sixth under today's rider at Wolverhampton latest.
Dual C&D winner in the distant past, including off much higher marks, but never won a race last season and his reappearance at Chelmsford was disappointing. Others look more likely despite a career-low mark.
Three-time C&D winner who was behind Roundabout Magic here in December but who bounced back to form with a win at Wolverhampton latest (fourth win from his last nine starts). Hard to rule out despite 4lb rise.
Veteran campaigner with five C&D wins, though increasingly hard to score with these days (currently on a 21-race losing run). Likely to come up short once again from a less than ideal draw, despite a decent effort in an apprentices' event latest.
Just one win from 32 starts in total and is 0-17 on the AW. mark looks reasonable on his best form but hasn't quite fired in two runs this winter since returning from a break.
Looks very limited on the evidence of her 13 starts to date and has finished last of four in successive C&D events won by Normorecalls of late. Hard to see the introduction of a hood making too much difference.

Forecasts
Roundabout Magic (9/4), Awesome Allan (9/4), Kinglami (9/2), Ask The Guru (7/1), Sandfrankskipsgo (10/1), Mossgo (10/1), Pharoh Jake (14/1), Equally Fast (16/1), Hurricane Alert (33/1), Dramatic Voice (66/1)
Mossgo made all in this race 12 months ago and would take some pegging back from stall 4 if in the same mood but Awesome Allan and Ask The Guru make more appeal on current form. For all that, any value here could lie with the ideally-boxed KINGLAMI who is now very well-treated compared to his higher turf rating, having shown up well in stronger company at Kempton last time out.
