With all due respect to connections, this rates as a rather dismal looking contest. Therefore, it's best not to overthink things, and focus purely upon those horses in form. Canford Thompson fits that bill in one respect, but his sole career success came over hurdles at Wetherby in October 2016 when just about gifted the race at the start. Therefore, we'll stick with Friday's Southwell winner AVOCET.
