Returned to form when finishing runner-up in a similar race to this on soft ground at Fakenham last week. Races off a 4lb higher mark today and blinkers (first time) replace the cheekpieces (first time) worn on that occasion.
Good effort to finish a neck second in a heavy ground chase over an extended 2m3f at Plumpton last month. Pulled up since and more needed back over hurdles.
Won once and placed twice from three starts since joining this yard including when third in a similar race to this at Fakenham (soft) last time out. One to note with blinkers tried for the first time today.
Broke his maiden when winning a claiming hurdle on heavy ground at Leicester last month. Cheekpieces worn for the first time on that occasion and absent returning to handicap company today.
Fair efforts in finishing fourth the last twice but had Indian Reel in front of him at Leicester (heavy) last time out and more is needed today.
Well held on heavy ground at Uttoxeter last month and it was a similar story when switched to the AW subsequently. Others make more appeal.
Point-to-point winner on good-to-firm ground in May 2016 but struggled under rules since and wears a tongue tie for the first time today.
Fair efforts on good ground here in late 2017 but pulled up on soft ground upped to 3m last time out and remains a maiden after 18 starts under rules.
Finished behind a couple of today's rivals when fourth in a similar race to this at Fakenham (soft) last week. Needs to improve if he's to take this contest.
11 race maiden and held on soft in handicap company at Newcastle last time out Probably best watched on this occasion.
Sole success in 67 starts came on the Flat back in 2013. Put in one of her better efforts when finishing 13L third at Sedgefield (2m1f, soft) last time but others look more likely winners of this.
Disappointing since winning at Wincanton (good-to-soft) in April 2016 and wind surgery didn't appear to have helped when finishing well beaten at Taunton earlier this month. Racing from out of the handicap today.
Forecasts
Hollywood All Star (9/4), Hurricane Rita (5/2), Indian Reel (9/2), Whispering Harry (10/1), Stuccodor (12/1), Millen Dollar Man (12/1), Bygones For Coins (16/1), Windy Writer (16/1), Centreofexcellence (25/1), Jacarno (25/1), Benissimo (25/1), West To Crossgales (33/1)
HOLLYWOOD ALL STAR can confirm recent running with Hurricane Rita in this selling handicap hurdle. The selection finished one place ahead of his chief rival today on that occasion and can register his fourth career win with blinkers applied for the first time. Of the remaining runners Fergal O'Brien is in good form at present (3/12) and his Indian Reel, a winner last time out can finish third on his return to handicaps.
