Formerly quite a useful chaser and a prolific winner in point-to-points (12 wins to his name). Last gasp winner at Taunton in a hunter chase earlier in the year although he jumped none too well and did run a little in snatches; faces a different challenge here.

Fortunate winner of a hunter chase here over 2m5f (leader fell at last) in April. Pulled-up after that in a better race at Cheltenham and faces a stiff task here after having some wind surgery and now running on ground that may be too testing.

A fairly weak hunter chase overall which revolves around PREMIER PORTRAIT and Foxcub both of whom have some decent form to their name under Rules. The former of that duo was suited by a strongly run race last time out and there may well be a doubt that he won’t get the same set-up here but he should be able to overcome that. Foxcub struggled over regulation fences before and his fencing may be called into question again with Pride Of Parish and West Lake likely to be battling it out for the minor placing.
