Ran into a decent one on hurdles bow over C&D in October when fourth behind Sussex Ranger, only Flat win came in a Goodwood seller over 1m3f when with Eve Johnson Houghton and has to improve to get on the board now.
Dual winner on the Flat and twice finished second since going over hurdles. Sets standard on Newbury run in December and should have more to come with yard 7-28 recently and in good form.
Placed on both starts over hurdles, the latter when third to a Triumph Hurdle contender Redicean at Kempton (2m, soft) last month. Entitled to be in the thick of things.
Modest Flat winner, sent off 66/1 and never any threat in better race than this at Sandown (2m, soft) earlier in the month on hurdles bow. Has plenty improvement to find.
Half-brother to three winners in France. Pulled up on debut there, but has joined a yard that do well with their imports and who are an impressive 7-28 so far in 2018.
Has won two of his 10 starts since making his debut on the Flat in Ireland in April, the latest success over 1m4f (AW) at Kempton from a mark of 92 in January. Perhaps too keen to get home last time at Warwick (2m, heavy) on second hurdles start.
Forecasts
Doctor Bartolo (13/8), Night Of Glory (5/2), Kapdad (5/2), Delannoy (12/1), Monsieur Lecoq (14/1), Lightly Squeeze (25/1)
Doctor Bartolo just about sets the standard on his effort at Newbury in December with that form working out well, he should be in the firing line now. KAPDAD has placed in both starts over timber so far, latest behind a fair sort at Kempton last month. He can make the breakthrough today. Night Of Glory was a bit too keen at Warwick last time but offered plenty to work on and is likely to have his say.
