Winning novice hurdler but has looked less adept over fences and unseated rider early here a fortnight ago. Feasibly handicapped if returning to form but ground plenty soft enough on evidence to date.
Ex-Irish gelding, won over hurdles at Fontwell and on chase bow here this summer, and has generally run creditably since over a variety of trips. Drop back to minimum offset by the testing ground and rates a feasible contender.
Finally got off the mark at the 13th time of asking when winning nicely over C&D last time. 8lb higher but the penny may have dropped so should be in the mix for an in-form stable.
Failed to score for Paul Nicholls but has run with a little more promise for current yard in two starts so far. Dropped 4lb since last run and yard in sparkling form (4-8 in last fortnight). Market worth a glance.
Irish point-to-point winner 16 months ago but has looked of little account in four starts so far under Rules. Makes handicap bow here having started at 100/1 all previous starts. Hard to fancy.
Frustrating sort placed 7-19 but still yet to win. Shaped with promise on two of his three chase outings so far; only disppointment came here on heavy ground last month. Well weighted on pick of hurdles form but finds winning very hard.
Forecasts
Le Coeur Net (5/4), Two Hoots (7/2), Sir Hubert (5/1), Ramore Will (5/1), King Cool (12/1), Moneystown (50/1)
TWO HOOTS is a tentative selection in a race of mainly frustrating customers. He looks to be in good heart since changing yards and has been given a chance by the handicapper. Le Coeur Net is a big danger. He won well here last time and despite a hefty rise in the weights rates a serious candidate, while top weight King Cool is not out of it if picking his hooves up this time. This shorter trip may play to the stamina strength of Ramore Will, another to consider in an open event.
- Two Hoots
- Le Coeur Net
- Ramore Will
