Goes well here and this is much more suitable than the stiff test he faced at Newbury last time out. Has been a tad expensive to follow though.

No signs of any ill effects when he made a successful return from a long absence at Warwick in October. The break since then shouldn't be too much of an issue and another bold attempt looks assured with Barry Geraghty back in the plate.

Winner in a point-to-point and backed up the promise with a smooth success at Wetherby in December. Held in stiffer company than this latest but should appreciate this ease in grade and looks very capable of being a big player in this company.

Promise in bumpers and also made a pleasing start over hurdles last time out. More to do here but going the right way and could easily make the frame at least if he can continue to progress.

Never a factor in a bumper on debut in November and not hard to overlook on that evidence.

Only hinted at ability so far and has a long absence to overcome, so very likely a couple of the others will be a good bit sharper.

Well beaten here last and, despite still being open to improvement, the gelding does come here with a good bit to prove now.

Consistent so far and possible he'll improve for stepping up in trip this time. Has a bit to find but not without a chance on these terms if his stamina holds out.

Forecasts

Burrows Edge (15/8), Knight In Dubai (9/4), Dans Le Vent (4/1), Herewego Herewego (11/2), What's Occurring (11/1), Heydour (66/1), Monthyne (125/1), Pronto Tonto (250/1)

Verdict

Interesting to see how Knight In Dubai responds to racing in a tongue tie for the first time and the gelding has to make the shortlist in this company. However, there may also be a good bit more to come from HEREWEGO HEREWEGO, who is a lightly raced gelding from a highly respected yard. The gelding does pick a penalty for winning on his reappearance but the manner of that success did create the impression there is more to come. Dans Le Vent also has a penalty to contend with but likes this course and appeals as the best of the rest.
  1. Herewego Herewego

  3. Dans Le Vent
