Had just four starts since winning at Chepstow (soft) over an extended 2m7f in December 2016. Attempting to repeat that victory when runner-up last month but likely to find life tough under top weight.
Placed on two of his four starts since joining this yard from France two years ago. Showed plenty of promise when finishing eighth over C&D on his first outing in over 18 months here last time out and represents a leading yard today.
Finished runner-up over 3m at Clonmel (soft-to-heavy) in December but finished well beaten on the Flat since and likely to need more help from the handicapper before he's winning again.
Progressive individual having won three of his last four starts dating back to November 2014. Making his first appearance in nearly three years when winning at Cork (2m4f, heavy) last month and one to note despite an 8lb rise in the weights.
Placed in three Graded novice hurdles since winning at Punchestown (good) over an extended 2m last May. Worth a check in the market with a leading jockey booked for today's handicap debut.
Placed over 2m4f at Aintree (good-to-soft) in October but held over the same trip in a conditions event subsequently. Best form has come on ground quicker than is forecast today.
Just touched off over C&D in December. Tackling this trip for the first time on that occasion and one to note in first time cheekpieces despite a 5lb rise in the weights.
Put a run of three non-completions behind him when fifth at Fairyhouse (3m, soft) last time out. Won off this mark at Naas (2m3f, soft-to-heavy) last March and wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Impressive bumper winner at Roscommon (heavy) in September and off the mark at the second attempt over hurdles here over 2m4f on soft ground subsequently. Likely to appreciate this step up in trip and is one for the shortlist on handicap debut.
Registered his second hurdling win when victorious at Naas (2m4f, soft-to-heavy) in November. Well held over fences here the following month and more needed today.
Dual winner over hurdles and successful twice over fences since joining this yard last year. Most recent of those came in the prestigious Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury (good-to-soft) and he is a leading contender off his much lower hurdles mark.
Fair form as a novice in 2016 but absent for over a year prior to finishing well beaten at Clonmel last month and plenty to prove on handicap debut.
Winner over fences at Kilbeggan (3m1f, good) in July and placed twice in that sphere since. Fair effort here last time out and represents a shrewd trainer on his return to hurdles.
Winner three times so far but regressive form in recent years including in two starts since joining this stable. Likely to struggle in this contest.
Placed three times from nine starts over hurdles including over 2m3f at Clonmel (heavy) last month. Interesting to see how he fares upped in trip on handicap debut.
Useful horse on his day but struggled during 2017 and likely to struggle as he chases a first victory since October 2015.

TOTAL RECALL has looked a much improved performer in two starts since joining this yard and having won off a 22lb higher mark in a valuable handicap chase at Newbury last time out he can make a winning return to hurdling in the hands of Paul Townend. Handicap debut Flawless Escape broke his maiden over hurdles last time and having placed in a point-to-point he can claim second stepping up in trip for a leading stable while third place can go the way of A Great View, a close second here in December.
- Total Recall
- Flawless Escape
- A Great View
