Maiden hurdler who ran well on heavy going on handicap debut at Haydock. Better ground and 1lb lower mark may see him in an even better light.
Winner of two her five starts over timber who, after a moderate effort on her chasing debut, ran second in a Southwell handicap hurdle. Up 1lb, but is entitled to be thereabouts, especially if cheekpieces have a galvanising effect.
Bumper winner whose best run in three starts over hurdles saw her finish third to a subsequent winner in a Ludlow novices' hurdle. Makes her handicap debut in a first-time tongue tie.
Signs of ability in novice/maiden hurdles. Makes his handicap debut, but does not look particularly well weighted on what he has achieved so far.
Has won one of his five race over hurdles, but showed little following a break on the AW last month. Should strip fitter and return to jumping ought to suit.
Not fully extended to land a Market Rasen selling handicap on Boxing Day and the runner-up that day has performed well since. He is 1lb higher in a better race, but is certainly not out of it.
Capable on the Flat and latest of three outings in maiden/novice company over timber saw him finish second of 11 over C&D. Leading jockey keeps the ride and he looks a player on his handicap debut.
Maiden hurdler who has been well held in handicaps on his last two starts, but did shape well at Huntingdon before that. Each-way prospects off career-low rating.
Three runs for current trainer and the last two of them have seen him perform with credit over C&D in novice company. One to consider on handicap debut for stable which also runs Vino's Choice.
Shaped well on hurdling debut at Kelso, but last two efforts have not been so promising. Needs to bounce back to form on his first start in a handicap.
Irish import who made his stable/handicap debut at Wetherby in December and was pulled up after making little show. Plenty to prove despite his 5lb lower mark.
Winner on the Flat and over hurdles who was fifth over C&D in December. Well held on his return to this track last time and looks more exposed than others.
Shrugged off a 16-month absence to win on stable debut at Market Rasen in November and two subsequent runs, the latest at this track, have yielded another win and a second. In great heart and has to be considered despite her higher mark.
Maiden on the Flat, but has been placed five times in 11 starts. Has shown promise in three juvenile hurdles and is of interest now he goes handicapping off a feasible mark.
Forecasts
Morning With Ivan (11/2), Character Onesie (11/2), Kelpies Myth (6/1), Jamacho (13/2), Kalaniti (7/1), Scorpion Princess (8/1), Ninepointsixthree (10/1), Starplex (12/1), Titus Bolt (14/1), Silver Bullion (14/1), Graystown (16/1), Vino's Choice (16/1), The Grinder (25/1), Anguino (50/1)
A trappy contest which may go to CHARACTER ONESIE, who is one of several runners who makes his handicap debut. He ran his best race so far less time and it is interesting his top jockey keeps the ride. Graystown and Kalaniti enter calculations despite their big weights, while at the other end of the handicap, Jamacho is interesting for his shrewd stable. Morning With Ivan, Kelpies Myth, The Grinder and Ninepointsixthree are others to consider, while Scorpion Princess has prospects on one piece of Ludlow form.
