Hasn't run badly on her most recent starts and this is generally her best trip. Top weight won't be easy here but she's been going the right way.

Actually performed okay in turf maidens but hasn't been able to convert that into handicap form and much more needed dropped another 4lb.

Has been in good form so far this year having won a competitive event at Chelmsford last month. Up 3lb but has won off higher marks than this as recently as last year and could strike again from a good draw.

A winner of four races but not at the same level since returning from a break in the spring of last year.

Ran a good race in third stepped up to 1m2f at Lingfield last time out. Should be on a workable mark and no surprise if he has more to offer back down in trip.

Has been frustrating in handicaps having failed to win one to date despite going close on a few occasions. Up in trip with first-time blinkers but not one to rely on.

Didn't end last year in the worst form and it's encouraging to see him dropped down to Class 7 again but this draw won't make things easy.

Usually runs her race but now 0/20 on the AW (and just 1/31 overall), and only slowly making her way down the handicap.

Only the odd hint at ability on the Flat last year and showed little in two starts over hurdles since. Others hold more convincing claims.

Well-beaten in three starts in maidens all of which she was sent off a big price for. Tough to fancy on handicap debut despite a lowly mark.

Had only four starts this year but finished second on three of them. Just 2lb higher in the weights now and not one to rule out lightly.

Yet to show much on either turf or the AW, especially since moving to this trainer. Blinkers added to a retained tongue strap.

Forecasts

Outlaw Torn (2/1), Stringybark Creek (5/1), Stamp Duty (7/1), Sheer Intensity (8/1), Gone With The Wind (10/1), The King's Steed (10/1), Ixelles Diamond (14/1), Mossy's Lodge (16/1), Ok By Me (16/1), St James's Park (20/1), Little Miss Tango (33/1), Cooperess (40/1), Lady Nahema (50/1)

Verdict

A predictably weak affair, where STRINGYBARK CREEK may hold the key. Unlike many of these he seems to be going the right way having run well at Lingfield last time out, and still on what seems to be a workable mark he can utilise this drop back in trip along with Hollie Doyle taking the ride for the first time to return to winning ways. The in-form Outlaw Torn and perennial runner-up Stamp Duty are feared most, in that order.
  1. Stringybark Creek
  2. Outlaw Torn
  3. Stamp Duty
