Smart colt who finished 4¼L behind U S Navy Flag in a Newmarket Group 1 last summer. Finished a fair second at Kempton last time in a Class 2 conditions race and he will be very hard to beat on these terms.
Well beaten in all three starts, latest effort a tailed off run over a mile at Kempton. Yard in good form but this runner one that is likely to do better in handicaps.
Dick Turpin filly, half-sister to the useful sprinter Hoofalong. Yard in good form and do well around here so she may prove to be the main danger to Danzan.
Pivotal filly, full-sister to 6f winner King Of Spin and dam a useful sprint winner. Yard capable of readying one for debut but she will have her work cut out with the top-weight here.
Forecasts
Danzan (8/11), Regina Nostra (11/8), Persian Prize (16/1), Furze Lady (33/1), Silverturnstogold (66/1)
DANZAN was a very smart sprinter last year and he's going to be a tough nut to crack for three debutantes and a three-race maiden. Regina Nostra and Furze Lady can battle it out for the forecast spot with Regina Nostra narrowly preferred for a yard capable of readying a debutante.
