Patrick Carey's mud-lover has been improving in 2m hurdles recently and, having appeared to stay 3m when placed in a couple of earlier point-to-points, should have no problem with the longer trip on his chasing debut. El Vasco was not disgraced in the face of an impossible tasks behind The Storyteller at Fairyhouse last time and also enters the reckoning in this lower grade.
