Dundalk maiden winner back in January 2017 since but switched trainers soon after and yet to put in a truly convincing performance for this trainer. 50/1 chance and comfortably held over extended-mile at Wolverhampton already this month.
Ten-race maiden formerly trained by Richard Hannon, showed some potential on AW bow at Kempton in July over a mile. Off since August and has undergone wind surgery, one to note in the betting on return.
Remains a maiden after 13 career starts, though signs lately that run may end soon. Caught late on over 1m2 here earlier in the month, has to be given solid claims with repeat effort over this trip.
Now nine-years-old and a winner six times from 29 starts on the AW, has gone close in previous three starts, including over C&D last month, and must be taken seriously in present mood.
Is 10lb below previous winning mark, which came over extended-mile at Wolverhampton in February last. Didn't get the clearest passage when third over 7f at Kempton 16 days ago (runner-up Tigerfish runs in previous race) and goes on shortlist.
In and out performer, went close over a mile at Chelmsford last month (headed late on) but well held back there since. Record of 1-33 with eight placed efforts on AW tells a tale and likely to land minor honours at best again.
Now 12-years-old and a veteran of 119 starts, with 13 wins. The latest of those came here over 7f on turf (good) in July off this mark. Returns from a break here and while not crossed off, others seem more plausible.
Unconvincing maiden on the Flat and over jumps, particularly poor in pair of AW outings in 2017 and little to recommend on return to this sphere.
Not much in terms of positives from AW outings last year, best of them when ridden prominently over 7f here in November before fading to 4¼L seventh of 10. Much poorer effort since at Southwell and 8lb out of the handicap now.
Six-time winner on the AW, though not since December 2015. Beaten 5¾L over C&D late last month and similar fate since at Wolverhampton (7f). Races from 8lb out of the handicap and a year since he's threatened.
Forecasts
Living Leader (3/1), Dukes Meadow (4/1), Presence Process (9/2), Runaiocht (6/1), World Of Good (8/1), Spirit Of Gondree (10/1), Cyflymder (10/1), Feel The Vibes (16/1), Jeremy's Jet (20/1), Mette (33/1)
Not an inspiring bunch on form, ex-Richard Hannon inmate Feel The Vibes is worth a check in the betting having shown some promise at Kempton in July on AW bow and undergone wind surgery over the winter. Living Leader is nine-years-old now but has shaped well in three recent starts and merits respect as such. Runaiocht didn't have much luck in transit last time at Kempton when coming home third (form that could be boosted by Tigerfish in the preceding race). PRESENCE PROCESS was only collared late in the piece at Chelmsford over a longer trip 13 days ago and could be up to shedding the maiden tag now dropped to a mile in this open contest.
- Presence Process
- Living Leader
- Runaiocht
