Has shown little so far but bred to do better at this trip. Makes handicap debut in a hood for the first time , but initial mark seems to be asking a lot.
Well-backed ahead of penultimate start when a promising effort petered out. Handicapper raised him 3lb for that and his latest effort proved how harsh that was. Remains on the same mark with blinkers now added and remains vulnerable.
Finally caught the eye on handicap debut last time. Current mark looks workable and there is scope for better to come. Yard's horses are going well and he would have to be a leading contender.
Looking moderate now and last of nine in a weak contest two weeks ago. New trip and blinkers tried, but hard to recommend.
Last couple of efforts failed to live up to earlier promise. Given a break since and returns over a considerably longer trip. One to note in early trading.
Has produced two good runs on the fibresand lately and appreciated the step up to 7f last time. Extra 2f and faster surface leave him with significant questions to answer.
Shaped better last time on handicap debut when poorly drawn. 5lb lower here, upped in trip and blinkered for the first time. Stable 3-8 in last fortnight, so one for the shortlist.

Forecasts
Bill Cody (2/1), Good Impression (7/2), Sotomayor (4/1), Font Vert (7/1), Feragust (9/1), Gunnar Julius (12/1), Rosedale Topping (14/1), Arlecchino's Arc (33/1)
Good Impression comes into this in better form than most, but there are concerns he will be as effective at this trip and on this surface. Gunnar Julius and Rosedale Topping are probably capable of better than we have seen so far and will need to be monitored in the market. BILL CODY had shown nothing prior to his handicap debut last time, but that run indicated he was on a decent mark and capable of repaying some of his hefty price tag. It would be disappointing if he failed to win a race as uncompetitive as this.
- Bill Cody
- Gunnar Julius
- Rosedale Topping
