Good record here (two wins and two places from seven starts) and took advantage of a drop in class to score over C&D two starts ago. This is no harder, and he may well bounce back from a below par effort at Newcastle last time.
Very well backed to score over C&D a fortnight ago and possibly a touch unlucky not to get closer, having been hampered at a key stage. However, held by Samphire Coast on previous run, so may need a bit more regardless.
Yet to race here, which asks a question, but this trip ideal and this mark still looks workable on his turf wins last year. Has gone well after a break too and if there's market support, it would need to be noted.
Very well handicapped on the best of his form, but hard to catch right even at the best of times. Would have needed recent run after a break, excellent young rider booked, drawn well and a better effort wouldn't be the biggest surprise.
Likes this track (three times a winner here) and showed plenty back from a short break at Newcastle on latest start, particularly as usual headgear was missing. Blinkers back on now, and a big run looks almost sure to follow.
C&D winner last October but still 4lb higher than that here after a couple of other decent efforts. Shane Kelly takes over from apprentice, but hold up style means he may need a bit of luck from stall 1 here.
Winner over this trip at Wolverhampton last year and only 2lb higher today, but recent efforts rather suggest he's gone off the boil and it's not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.,
Travelled well at Newcastle last week before scoring in decisive fashion, that coming off the back of two decent efforts so not unexpected. Actually a pound lower here, so clearly well handicapped, and every chance of the follow up.
Only had the five starts, so open to improvement, and did run well over C&D on second start here last September, beaten under a length. Drop back to a mile here should help, and a bit of market support would make her interesting.
Just the one win in 16 starts, but does handle artificial surfaces and fairly handicapped these days. However, likely to need this after a break and others make more appeal.

King Oswald (11/4), Samphire Coast (7/2), Beepeecee (6/1), Ross Raith Rover (6/1), Celtic Artisan (8/1), British Embassy (8/1), Shamlan (12/1), Rattle On (16/1), Suitsus (16/1), Yogiyogiyogi (20/1), Footstepsintherain (20/1), Cat Royale (33/1)
KING OSWALD looks the automatic selection, being a pound lower than his win at Newcastle last week (that coming in an apprentices race, so no penalty) and has every chance of the quick follow-up. Celtic Artisan looks sure to run his race after a solid effort last time and the return of headgear can only help. British Embassy is one to keep an eye on - he's very well handicapped these days, but may need a return to cheekpieces to show his best. Samphire Coast isn't ruled out despite a big weight.

- Celtic Artisan
