A three-time winner here only one of those victories has come over the minimum trip and he looked to struggle a little on his most recent try over 5f here although that was in better grade. Below form over 7f here last time but this is a drop in class and he's got a leading chance.
All his runs on the Fibresand have come at this trip winning on five occasions although his latest three runs here haven't shown in him the same light as previously. He could have gone off the boil slightly and he's not straightforward (tends to hang) but has a chance at the weights.
Down in grade off a career-low mark saw him burst back to life out of nowhere finding plenty for pressure to score over C&D. Not in anything like the same form next time at Kempton (got loose before) and never in the race over 6f; now dropped in grade and back on Fibresand with a stiff task at the weights.
Showed some relatively modest form when he was a juvenile with Tom Dascombe but has only been seen once since then for this yard when finishing last in a 6f Redcar maiden. Now given a go on Fibresand down in grade but makes little appeal on what he shown so far.
Makes her debut for this yard having had just one career run for another yard in which she showed little promise over a mile at Newcastle. Hard to fashion a case for her on the back of that effort as she tries the Fibresand for the first time.

Captain Lars (1/2), Grand Myla (3/1), Piazon (7/2), Bop It (6/1), Lucata (28/1), Eye On You (66/1)
A confusing heat which makes little appeal as a betting medium although both CAPTAIN LARS and Piazon have good records on Fibresand. Neither is bombproof here though with the former never looking totally at home over this trip and the latter looking to be struggling a little for form of late and can also seen a difficult ride. Bop It won here out of the blue but ran poorly last time out and is no banker to repeat his previous form here facing hard task at the weights while Grand Myla could be given a chance if she acts on the surface but that’s an unknown at the moment.
