Trainer Gordon Elliott took this race twice with the high class Don Cossack and while his representative today A TOI PHIL isn't in that class he can prove good enough to take the 2018 renewal of this valuable event. The selection ran well in a Grade 1 contest last month prior to finishing runner-up to a progressive rival and he is taken to get the better of Woodland Opera who can put a disappointing effort behind him last time out by getting the better of American Tom in the battle for second.
- A Toi Phil
- Woodland Opera
- American Tom
