Looks a quirky customer and looked as though he was making a habit of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory until winning last time out having been just touched off over C&D the day before. Needs kid glove treatment to be able to win but has to be taken seriously under a 6lb penalty.

Like Roy's Legacy he raced away from the main action when finishing 4th here last time out and that run may be a little better than it first appears. Blinkers now go on for the first time and it will be interesting to see if he can improve again although he has work to do with Something Lucky.

A tricky little sprint that should be run at a good pace and several of these have met before. Something Lucky is the obvious candidate here with connections looking to have finally found the key to him last time out when he was delivered right on the line at Lingfield. He’ll no doubt travel well again having shown he acts on this surface but does need a perfect delivery and a chance is taken with the blinkered first time FURNI FACTORS who raced in the wrong part of the track last time yet still finished a creditable 4th. Roy’s Legacy also suffered under the same conditions and he to can be given a chance along with the likes of Coiste Bodhar and Archie Stevens.
