Eight wins around here and a record of 3/9 over this C&D although his last win here came in a seller over this trip. Has run with credit of late and always to be respected around here and should be competitive.

Hard to argue that his mark hasn't dropped to something that he can be competitive off although he fared poorly here on his first run on the surface. Finished well held again last time out and despite the falling mark has something to prove.

Hasn't as yet been seen on the AW for this yard (has been hurdling for them) but has won here over further off a 2lb lower mark. Ran poorly over hurdles last time when conditions were perhaps a little soft and given his previous win here may well be worth keeping an eye on.

A three-time winner here but all those wins were over much shorter and he steps up significantly in trip here. This combination of headgear appeared to spark him up the first time it was used but the edge appears to have faded now despite the falling mark.

Ran here for the first time on his last start and finished well beaten and certainly underperformed. That race was over a mile and he steps up 4f in distance here and given that he's never won a race it's not hard to pass him over here.

Yet to experience the Fibresand and has so far fared very poorly for this yard beating just one rival home in his last two AW starts. Managed to win off 70 on turf for his previous yard but looks one who has rather gone off the boil at the moment.

Appears to have taken well to this surface and went one better than her debut run here when winning over 1m3f last time out travelling well and winning comfortably. Should stay this trip but was raised 7lb for that last win which gives her a stiffer task here up in grade.

Makes his handicap debut having made his racecourse debut here last March over a mile. Has a pedigree that suggests he'll be well suited by this surface but has been off for a long while and may need the run; well worth watching in the market though.

Like quite a few on this card he should know his way around here having won here nine times in total (2/14 over C&D). Did look as though there was still something to work with on his penultimate start but ran poorly here last time and dropped a further 4lb.

Forecasts

Luv U Whatever (15/8), Ingleby Spring (3/1), Free Bounty (5/1), Captain Revelation (10/1), Last Chance Paddy (11/1), The Lock Master (14/1), Akkadian Empire (20/1), Brotherly Company (22/1), Pack It In (50/1)

Verdict

Luv U Whatever is a consistent sort on this surface but may have trouble giving away weight to the field here and another place may be the best he can hope for. Free Bounty looks of interest on his first run on the Flat for this yard having previously shown up well here while Last Chance Paddy who his handicap debut here has a pedigree that should be well suited by this surface and is worth noting in the market. INGLEBY SPRING probably has to find a little more improvement given the fact that she’s up 7lb for her last win and over a longer trip here but she travelled well into that race and is given the vote to follow up.
  1. Ingleby Spring
  2. Free Bounty
  3. Luv U Whatever
