Derby entry by Nathaniel out of a speedy dam who has produced two winning sprinters. Not highly tried on debut for which a hood is applied. Stable don't have too many debut winners, but the market is often a clue when they do.
Champs Elysees gelding who cost £26,000 as a yearling. First foal of a mare who won over 1m2f on the AW, but little to shout about on last month's debut.
Sets the standard with a BHA rating of 82. Arrives fitter for his return from a break when second in a slowly run contest. Visor applied and doubts persist that he will stay this far if run at a genuine pace.
Bred to do better over this sort of trip. However, his stable are going through a quiet spell and he may be best watched with an eye to a future in handicaps.
Half-sister to six winners at up to this trip. Certain to improve on last week's debut if this does not come too soon.
Shaped much better on Saturday's handicap debut, but faces a struggle back in maiden company. Doubts she will stay this extra 3f given the amount of speed in the pedigree.
Sea The Stars filly cost €80,000 as a foal and 4,500gns as a yearling; sister to winning hurdler Hadfield and half-sister to a winner in Singapore; dam Australian Group placed at 1m2f. Stable quiet at present, but the allowances work in her favour.

Derby entry Perfect Illusion adds some spice to what appears an ordinary event. The allowance structure works heavily in favour of fellow newcomer Victoria Drummond, who is weighted on the 4,500 gns she fetched as a yearling rather than the €80,000 price that was paid as a foal. Genuinely Crowded was easy to back on last week's debut, but there was some promise shown and she will appreciate this trip. DICHATO is the clear pick of those to have run, although his Newcastle reappearance did not dispel any fears about him tackling this trip. However, this may prove to be a tactical affair on a much easier track and he earns a tentative vote as a result.
