Appears rejuvenated for the switch to this yard. Good effort last time after problems with the blindfold on previous start. His wins have come at 7f-1m and the drop to this trip is a concern.

Latest run has been boosted by the winner who has scored impressively since. Nevertheless work to do on these terms, but perhaps less questions to answer than some of her rivals. Jockey booking catches the eye.

Had a poor draw on Saturday and favoured by the conditions of this race. However, he is an 11-race maiden with a tendency to hang under pressure. The visor may help, but he may not be one to take a short price on.

Joined this yard for 12,000 gns having cost his previous owner 330,000 gns. Some signs of ability over a variety of distances and rider 4-14 (five more placed) for this stable at a level stakes profit of 32 points.

Cost just 7,000 gns and is out of an unraced half-sister to a Gimcrack winner. Last of 14 on debut and will be of more appeal in low grade handicaps.

Verdict

This is not a race to overindulge in with question marks against all the runners. Kingofmerrows is best in at the weights by far and would be facing a much sterner test if this was a handicap. A visor may correct his wayward tendencies, but he looks a risk at the likely odds. Bernie's Boy is a dual winner who arrives in form. He has missed the break on his last two starts and can ill afford to do so now dropping below his optimum distances. TAWAAFOQ has proved disappointing so far , but a switch to a smaller yard appears to have benefitted him. It is usually significant when this rider is engaged to partner one of their horses and a tentative nod is directed in his direction. Toolatetodelegate has a stiff task at the weights, but at least has proven speed at the trip and can be expected to give an honest account.
  1. Tawaafoq
  2. Kingofmerrows
  3. Bernie's Boy
