Landed a slowly run race at Huntingdon and came up short next time under a penalty. Faces a similar problem again here.
Handles cut in the ground and has been skilfully placed to win at Southwell and Fakenham. Not disgraced in Listed company in the interim and the clear pick on tangible form.
64-rated maiden on the flat who was effective at around 1m2f. Beaten a long way out on hurdling debut and needs to step up appreciably.
Won a 3m point-to-point at Loughrea a couple of months ago and subsequently changed hands for £52,000. Bumped into an above-average rival on rules debut at Fontwell and a player here if building on that promise.
Changed hands for £50,000 after finishing second in an Irish point-to-point in the spring. Only moderate promise in bumper at Bangor on debut for this yard, but possible the run would have been needed. One to watch in the market.
Brother to useful hurdler Une Artiste and successful in a poor bumper in March. Looked in need of the run on hurdling debut in November and should be capable of a bold show if building on that encouraging effort.
Outran odds of 100/1 in a decent looking bumper on debut and was found a poor race at Bangor last time. Looks a stayer in the making so he will need a truly run race if he is to succeed in this.
Winner of three Flat races in the Czech Republic before joining current yard. Off the track almost two years since an inauspicious hurdling debut and hard to fancy.
£34,000 half-brother to two bumper winners who liked very soft ground. Unfancied on bumper debut in November when showing little and he may be a long term project.
Landed three races on the Flat for Chris Wall but appeared a quirky sort who has to be delivered late. Plenty of promise shown on hurdling debut when he was probably asked for too much too soon. Wears a hood for the first time.
Looked in trouble prior to losing his rider at Lingfield last time. Clearly has some ability, but needs to settle better.
Poor performer on the Flat who has finished last in four of her six starts. Off the track almost a year and impossible to fancy.
Forecasts
Dessinateur (11/4), Banjo Girl (3/1), Canyouringmeback (4/1), Clash Of D Titans (13/2), Well Smitten (7/1), The New Pharaoh (8/1), Canyon City (10/1), Passam (25/1), Tango du Roy (80/1), Booborowie (100/1), Sanok (100/1), Respectability (250/1)
Banjo Girl and Canyon City have winning form over timber with the former looking the more likely to defy a penalty. However, there are some interesting runners amongst the less exposed types with DESSINATEUR making plenty of appeal for the in-form Venetia Williams team. The Chepstow bumper winner was threatening to play a part on his Exeter hurdling debut until a lack of fitness began to tell. He will be much straighter here and can take this at the expense of Canyouringmeback who showed plenty of promise at Fontwell. Passam will need further in due course, but the stiff finish here will help provided there is a decent gallop.
