Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: R M Short(7)| T: S Fahey
66/1
Modest 47-rated Flat handicapper well beaten in her last three starts including on two visits to Dundalk. Blinkers removed today but still unlikely to be involved at the finish on hurdling debut.
2
Horse silk
11/4
Distance winner in a Galway bumper in October before finishing one-paced fifth of 14 beaten 17L behind Martello Park on New Years Day. Improvement a possibility.
3
Horse silk
10/11
Soldier Of Fortune mare who won her only race in France at Dieppe in July beating 15 rivals ¼L. Likely to be a warm order on debut for powerful yard.
4
Horse silk
100/1
Milan mare related to high class hurdlers Jezki and Raya Star well beaten 29L on debut in Tramore maiden hurdle finishing 12th of 15 on heavy ground. Looks vulnerable in this company.
Half-sister to recent Fairyhouse Grade B winner Nearly Nama'd but well beaten 73L when sent off at 100/1 on debut last month. Tough assignment here.
Sent off at odds of 100/1 on her first two maiden hurdle starts at Thurles and here last month when finishing ninth of 18 beaten 59L. More of the same looks likely here.
7
Horse silk
100/1
Modest bumper performer for trainer-Robert Murphy and well beaten in all four career starts including when last seen in April 2015. Difficult task ahead in first-time hood on stable debut.
8
Horse silk
Oscar Madnesst176
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-13| J: D E Splaine| T: T O'Brien
66/1
Tailed off and well beaten a total of 321L in two unacceptable performances in the summer. Hard to fancy until showing a hint of ability.
9
Horse silk
Queen Barackt15
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-13| J: Robbie Colgan| T: D Hassett
100/1
Winner of a Tralee point-to-point last spring but has failed to produce any signs of ability in two career maiden hurdle performances last month. Others preferred.
10
Horse silk
50/1
By Mahler out of a Flemensfirth mare related to Gold Cup 'dark horse' Coney Island and recent chase winners Sky Full Of Stars and Little Windmill. Market likely to reveal expectations.
11
Horse silk
Trumps Ace238
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-13| J: M P Burke(5)| T: T Doyle
10/1
Has regressed from her first two bumpers to be well beaten in three subsequent contests including a 16L defeat last time out when last seen in May. Will possibly need this run.
12
Horse silk
50/1
Westerner mare who was sent off at odds of 66/1 on debut in a Fairyhouse bumper last month running well for a long way before weakening two out. Others hold stronger profiles.
By Saint Des Saints out of a Mansonnien mare related to fine jumping progeny in Djakadam, Quel E'spirit and Quito De La Roque. Yard know the time of day with newcomers and worth a market check.
14
Horse silk
80/1
Westerner mare who was well beaten 86L finishing 15th of 18 in a Thurles maiden on hurdling debut when sent off at 100/1. Unlikely to land a blow here.
15
Horse silk
22/1
Improved performance last time out in December when third of eight in Tramore bumper following a laboured effort on hurdling debut in a Cork maiden. Will need to improve to figure.
Well beaten in two maiden hurdles initially in career before more of the same in two bumper starts in October and last month at Navan. There doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel just yet.

Forecasts

Pietralunga (10/11), Moonlight Escape (11/4), Cool Saint (5/1), Trumps Ace (10/1), Hiupinthesky (22/1), Miss Echrad (33/1), Belle West (50/1), Thatwasthen (50/1), Oscar Madness (66/1), Castaliera (66/1), Georgia Grace (66/1), Bert Leaf (66/1), Devine Star (80/1), Allez Amour (100/1), Golden Pockets (100/1), Queen Barack (100/1)

Verdict

Big outsiders Casteliera, Golden Pockets and Miss Echrad could possibly cut out the running here in the early stages of the opening contest with Bert Leaf and Hiupinthesky chasing behind. Impressive French-import PIETRALUNGA should confirm favouritism here for trainer-Willie Mullins with Moonlight Escape, Cool Saint and the interesting Thatwasthen battling for the minors.
  1. Pietralunga
  2. Cool Saint
  3. Thatwasthen
