Fourth foal who is a half-brother to the smart 2m hurdle winner Mick Jazz. Penalised for his 1L debut success at Towcester in November 2016 (1m5f+), but that form has been well advertised by the runner up since (dual winner).
Unraced first foal by Arakan out of the point-to-point maiden Classic Magic. Cost £10,000 as a three-year-old.
Kalanisi gelding who showed a small glimmer of promise when fourth on debut at Southwell in November, but ideally could've done with a far better experience next time for one so young (slipped up on the bend at Sedgefield).
Unraced third foal by Daylami, out of the bumper/1m4f (Flat)/2m hurdle winner Miss Edgehill. Cost just £1,800 in August 2016, so presumably has had issues, but his pedigree offers some encouragement that he could have a future of sorts.
Unraced first foal by Fair Mix out of the 2m hurdle winner Azione who was a sister to point-to-point winner Grand Exit, and a half-sister to the bumper/2m4f hurdle winner Too Generous.
Unraced Milan gelding who cost €80,000 as a three-year-old. Tenth foal who is a half-brother to none other than Native River, as well as both Orpheus Valley and Mahler Ten. Sure to stay well, and a key contender.
Cost £60,000 in May having shown a decent level of form on both starts in point-to-points. Ninth foal who is closely related to various winners, and is a half-brother to three winners including 2m-3m winning hurdler Quivy Bridge. Tongue tied.
Unraced second foal by Kayf Tara out of an unraced mare (As Was) who was a half-sister to 2m-2m3f hurdle/chase winner Molko Jack. Cost just £10,000 as a yearling, being a half-brother to a point-to-point winner.
Unraced second foal by Midnight Legend out of the 2m3f hurdle winner Takotna. His dam had both speed and stamina influences in her pedigree, so he looks a likely type for a trainer who knows what it takes to win such races.
Fairly well found in the market (13/2) ahead of her debut at Uttoxeter in June (2m good), but has left Philip Hobbs since then, and now represents a trainer who is more than capable in this sphere. Hard to know what to expect.
Shown some promise in a couple of junior bumpers during October, without having the required late race pace in order to get fully involved (despite his name). Up in trip with the champion jockey booked, but more required on balance.

A race which promises to throw up future winners, but without any firm inside knowledge is best described as 'a bit of a guessing game', so stakes should be kept to a bare minimum. Mick Maestro is a bumper winner, but one must ponder the reason for his subsequent 14 month absence since winning at Towcester in November 2016. A number of the unraced horses make some appeal based upon their connections, and this list includes, but isn't exhaustive of Serosevsky and Smith's Bay. However, both LOCKER ROOM TALK and One Night In Milan have the loftiest price tags to justify, and sustained market support for the former (if it arrives) would be just enough to tip the scales ever so marginally the way of the Adam Wedge ridden rules debutante.
