Form was something of a mixed bag in maiden/novice company. Should find this a workable opening handicap mark and he needs considering on Tapeta, the surface which he showed the best form on in a novice.
Heavy ground winner on turf at Carlisle over 7f. Not so good off only a slightly higher mark since but held excuses for at least one of those two efforts and has shown she acts on the Tapeta in the past.
Slightly disappointing when beaten favourite on handicap debut last time out. Should be capable of better than he showed there but it's no certainty that this drop back in trip will suit.
Slightly disappointing on handicap debut at Lingfield last time (on the Polytrack) having run well in novice events. Raced a little wide there and should be able to show more off this slightly lower mark. Cheek pieces on.
In good form currently, including a fine second over C&D last time out. Up another 3lb here but has shown plenty of improvement since switching to handicap company and should definitely be suited by this test.
Probably slightly better over 6f and is yet to really convince on the AW, despite showing some ability in handicaps, including off this mark.
Out-ran her odds on her last attempt in novice company before going on to be beaten 43L into last on handicap debut at Yarmouth last time out. Dropped 2lb but will likely need more help from the handicapper.

Papa Stour (5/6), Swissal (7/2), Hard Graft (4/1), The British Lion (9/2), High Seas (7/1), Northern Law (12/1), Bungee Jump (20/1), Brockey Rise (50/1), Equilibrium (66/1)
The British Lion holds claims on handicap debut having shown some good form in maiden/novice company, but preference is for SWISSAL. David Dennis' charge is in good form and has been fairly leniently treated by the handicapper. Having put in a fine performance over C&D last time out and with potential to improve further, he may well have a future in better handicaps than this. Bungee Jump acts on the surface and has won over 7f so is also considered.
