Age: 4|  Weight: 10-1| J: Gemma Tutty(5)| T: K Tutty| OR:  62| CD
8/11
Progressive front-runner, equally adept over 5f or 6f, who is thriving right now on the back of successive recent wins at Wolverhampton. Sure to mount a bold hat-trick bid under a 6lb penalty having won over C&D on his only previous visit.

Dual C&D winner but form has dropped off quite markedly since he won over 5f at Lingfield in the summer. Slowly away there last time out and may struggle to get into contention from an outside draw here.

Won an AW 6f nursery for Willie Haggas in 2016 but lost his way and not much to shout about in seven starts for this yard so far. Trying 5f for the first time today with a change of headgear employed.

Likes it here, having scored three times over the C&D, and he returns to the same mark which last saw him successful in May. For all that, his most recent efforts have been poor and he has the draw against him.

20/1
Successful 10 times in an 86 race career to date, including here a year ago (6f), but has raced with little sparkle since returning from a lay-off in the autumn. Others make more appeal despite a falling mark. Hood reached for.

Proving a model of consistency since dropped to sprint distances, placing three times since opening her account at Wolverhampton off a much lower mark. Likely to be competitive once again, though no margin for error.

Only win so far came in the mud at Yarmouth in August but hasn't kicked on from that. Didn't show enough over 6f here last month to suggest he's an imminent winner. Others preferred.

Head Spacet,v14
Age: 10|  Weight: 8-7| J: Hollie Doyle| T: B Barr| OR:  46| D
20/1
Veteran of 109 races, winning nine of them, though his strike-rate on the AW is only 2-41. Over a year since he last had his head in front and may lack the pace to get competitive over this trip nowadays.

Barnsdale13
Age: 5|  Weight: 8-7| J: Megan Ellingworth(7)| T: J R Holt| OR:  45
50/1
Long-standing maiden (26 races) who hasn't been beaten far on occasions but tends to flatter to deceive. No match for Jorvik Prince when beaten almost 9L at Wolverhampton last time and not hard to overlook.

Give Us A Bellet,v209

66/1
Seven-time winner in the past but badly out of form in five races since finishing a runner-up over 5f at Wolverhampton 11 months ago. Hard to make a credible case for right now.

Remarkably having his 208th career start and, having won 18 races, he is an absolute credit to connections. For all that, he is increasingly hard to win with these days, though he wasn't disgraced behind Jorvik Prince last time (beaten 5½L).

Forecasts

Jorvik Prince (8/11), Toolatetodelegate (9/2), Fareeq (10/1), Red Invader (10/1), Novabridge (12/1), Captain Scooby (14/1), Tea El Tee (14/1), Beau Mistral (20/1), Head Space (20/1), Mighty Zip (25/1), Barnsdale (50/1), Give Us A Belle (66/1)

Verdict

A modest final in which the progressive trailblazer JORVIK PRINCE should take some pegging back from a plum draw despite picking up a 6lb penalty for leaving a number of these trailing in her wake at Wolverhampton recently. The biggest threat may emerge from the admirably consistent Toolatetodelegate, though the veteran's Novabridge and Captain Scooby have now seen their marks plummet to interesting levels.
