Successful over 6f here last March but well held in five starts since including in first time blinkers (retained) over the same C&D last month. Others make more appeal.
Broke his maiden in a 1m maiden handicap on the fibresand at Southwell last month. Held there subsequently and interesting to see how he fares today.
In good form early last year finishing runner-up on four successive occasions including three times over an extended 1m here. Well beaten in three runs in October and well handicapped on her return from two months off the track.
Often slowly away but put in a good effort to finish runner-up over 6f here last time out. Races off the same mark today and is effective over today's 7f trip.
Ran well to finish second over this trip in a first time tongue tie (retained since) at Chelmsford in September. Held in four starts since and both previous successes have come over 5f.
Held since finishing 2L fourth over 7f at Chepstow (soft) in July including in a Class 7 contest over 1m at Kempton last time out. Others have a more obvious chance today.
Six time winner and put in his best effort in three starts for this yard when fifth over 6f at Dundalk last time out. This looks weaker and he is one to note in this contest.
Successful five times in the past but disappointing since joining this yard last spring. Handicap mark is falling as a result but recent form suggests he's likely to struggle racing from out of the handicap today.
Victorious six times in the past including over this C&D. Well handicapped on his best form but visor (retained) worn for the last time out failed to spark a revival. Racing from out of the handicap debut.
Struggled in three maiden starts for Mike Hammond in 2016 and beaten 41L in a 1m2f seller at Chepstow (good-to-soft) on sole start of last season in September. Making his stable and handicap debut from out of the weights today.
14 race maiden and only glimpses of ability since finishing third over 1m at Newcastle in November 2016. Wears a tongue tie for the first time racing from out of the handicap in this contest.
Struggled in six runs so far dating back to summer 2016. Well held in a maiden at Southwell (6f) last month and others make more appeal racing from out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Tasaaboq (3/1), Breaking Free (5/1), Oor Jock (5/1), Frangarry (8/1), Night Shadow (8/1), Suni Dancer (10/1), Spirit Of Gondree (10/1), Classic Flyer (12/1), Simply Clever (14/1), Take This Waltz (25/1), Tael O' Gold (25/1), Sam The Rebel (25/1)
The veteran OOR JOCK has a decent draw for this opening contest and having been contesting stronger races at Dundalk of late he can take this 7f handicap contest. The selection has won here off a 2lb higher mark 12 months ago and is taken to get the better of Simply Clever who was placed a number of times here last year and can return to form with a second following a break. Tasaaboq put in a good effort to finish runner-up here last time and he can register another placed effort by finishing third.
- Oor Jock
- Simply Clever
