Went with great zest and élan when making a winning Fibresand debut in a 6f maiden after being away from the track for eight months. Showed enough speed to think that he will be effective back at 5f on his handicap debut in what looks to be a fairly soft race for the grade.

Given her US pedigree it was no surprise that she was able to make a winning debut in 2015 over this trip especially with her trainer being so adept with sprinters. Looks to have problems since then (only lightly raced) and showed very little last time out; handicap mark has dropped dramatically.

Had looked like he was going to break a long losing run on a couple of occasions recently and did so last time under an attacking ride over C&D. Given how far his mark had fallen it was no real surprise but this looks harder and he'll need to be as good if not better than last time to follow-up.

This isn’t a strong handicap and JACK THE TRUTH gets an ideal chance to build on his maiden win over C&D as he steps into a handicap for the first time having showed plenty of zip and a liking for this surface last time. Coiste Bodhar has twice won over C&D and over longer trips here so the fact that he goes on the surface helps but he may be better over further and the 5lb rise in the weights for his last win looks a little harsh. Rocking Rudolph has certainly been given a chance by the handicapper but her form has fallen away since she scored here on her debut and question marks remain as to what she is capable of now. Culloden looks as though he struggles on this surface and despite the drop in the weights he looks outclassed in this.
