Placed in a bumper and in the process of running his best race since prior to unseating on heavy ground at Cork last time out. Represents a leading stable today.
Fell on both point-to-point starts but ran well when finishing runner-up in a Kilbeggan bumper over an extended 2m3f in August. Well beaten on last months hurdling debut however.
14 race maiden and ran well to finish runner-up off a mark of 106 last time out. Tongue tie worn for the first time on that occasion is left off today and he has placed here in the past.
Finished last of seven in both of his starts so far most recently in a 2m3f maiden hurdle at Downpatrick (good) in August. Probably best watched at present.
Signs of promise on debut in a bumper and stepped up on what he'd shown previously when finishing runner-up in a maiden hurdle on his debut over obstacles at Clonmel (soft-to-heavy) last time out. One for the shortlist today.
Ran well on all three starts over hurdles so far with the latest of those coming on soft ground at Limerick last month. Finished fourth on that occasion and he is an interesting runner for a local stable in good form (8/38) at present.
32 race maiden on the Flat and finished well beaten on his only previous hurdles start at Down Royal (yielding) in August 2015.
Well beaten on first three starts over hurdles but put in an improved effort when 23L fifth at Limerick (2m, soft) last time out. Market support would be interesting for a shrewd yard.
Fair efforts on first two hurdles outings but well beaten over 2m4f at Punchestown (heavy) last time out and likely to be of more interest once tackling handicaps.
Signs of ability when third in a point-to-point on debut in the spring but failed to trouble the judge in four outings under rules and fell on hurdling debut at Limerick (2m3f, soft) last month.
Decent effort when finishing 18L fifth at Cork (2m, soft-to-heavy) on his debut in November. Represents a good stable and interesting to see how he fares today.
Unraced daughter of Milan purchased for €4,000 at the sales in June 2015. Half-sister to 11 time winner Forever My Friend but probably best watched on debut.
Unraced daughter of Kris Kin and a half-sister to placed point-to-pointer He's No Molly. Making her belated debut in this contest.
Dual point-to-point winner including on soft-to-heavy ground but beaten 18L over 2m5f here on hurdling debut last month and more needed today.
Placed over hurdles at Enghien (heavy) in spring 2016 but proved a disappointment when well held on good ground at Clonmel on stable debut back in May. Likely to fare better on this occasion.

SCHMIDT can break his maiden at the fourth time of asking over hurdles in this opening contest. The selection put in a good effort at Limerick last time out and can see off Lareena who should be better suited by the forecast underfoot conditions compared to the good ground she encountered on her debut for this yard last year while Reelingintheyears can finish third following a promising effort on hurdling debut last time out.
- Schmidt
- Lareena
- Reelingintheyears
