Verdict

WATCHING SPIRITS has shown some fair form so far and he can make a winning fibresand debut in this opening novice contest. The selections sire Harbour Watch can boast a 20% strike-rate (3/15) on this surface and the locally-trained runner can step up on what he's shown so far on his first outing at this venue. Of today's rivals Axe Cap can put a disappointing effort at Wolverhampton last time out behind her by claiming second while Gift In Time who sets the standard on form but is unproven on this surface can finish third on this occasion.
