Despite a relatively useful pedigree (half-brother to several winners) he's shown very little form in maidens (started 100/1 last time).Ran over 6f here last time (looked limited) and now tries a furlong further; would be a poor event were he to win.
Makes his Flat debut having shown little over hurdles when trained in Ireland and although he showed a glimpse of promise on his debut for this yard that hasn't been built on. Has a US sire but likely to find this on the short side and best watched.
Given his pedigree he should be well suited to this surface and already has some decent non-Fibresand form to his name when trained in Ireland. Now makes his debut for trainer/owners that have had success with this type before and clearly of interest in a weak event.
Has some useful form to her name in maidens/handicaps but she has still to win a race and didn't impress in first-time blinkers on her initial run for this yard. Now makes her debut on this surface with her sire 0/3 here but has a little work to do to win here.
Yet to run and makes her debut here with the dam a winner up to 1m4f. Sire is 4/44 here but this looks a tough task on debut and others are preferred.
Starts out life for a new trainer having been off the track for a fair while and given her rating here has work to do on these terms. Will be better in low-grade handicaps once she regains her full fitness and yet to be tested on this surface.

Forecasts
The Great Wall (2/5), Beyond Recall (11/4), Riverside Bridge (12/1), Thunderbell (14/1), Di's Pride (33/1), My Girl Jo (40/1), Fireguard (66/1)
Hardly any strength in depth here and this looks to boil down to a match between THE GREAT WALL and Beyond Recall. Both have the form to win this but the former has a pedigree that looks better suited to Fibresand and is given the nod. The race for the minor placing may be more competitive although none of the remaining five look very inviting as betting propositions with a chance taken that Riverside Bridge may show a little more on this surface given his pedigree despite the trip.
