Solid and consistent in the point-to-point ranks winning his last four. Half brother of King George winner Might Bite and the one to beat here.

Won a point-to-point last month but is prone to a couple of mistakes throughout his races. Not consistent enough to make a case for.

Game veteran who won his last start in a Turtulla point-to-point carrying a monster-weight. Well beaten on last hunter chase appearance in this race last year.

Looks to be in good form with himself in both the point-to-point and hunter chase field. Will be the biggest danger to the favourite.
Modest hurdler and has been inconsistent in the point-to-point field but could easily out-run his large odds on second start for yard.

Comes here off the back of a 44+L defeat in a Borris House point-to-point with first-time cheekpieces called for. Worth a market check on second start for yard.

Placed in two of her last three point-to-point appearances. Looks to be below what is required in this on stable debut.

A winner and a place in two point-to-point starts this season the win coming in October over 3m on soft to heavy ground. Shouldn't be underestimated.
Modest performer including on a trip to Hexham in March for a novice hurdle when well beaten 43L. Won last point-to-point appearance earlier this month. Tough ask here.

Winner of a Mainstown point-to-point earlier this month beating seven rivals by 16L. Tough ask in this contest, place claims at best.

Fourth of nine in a Cork hunter chase splits a series of second places in 3m point-to-point contests. Could go well at a big price on second start for yard.

Consistent performer in a number of point-to-point contests over the year though was pulled-up on last start in November. Interesting runner on stable debut in first-time cheekpieces.

Forecasts

Burning Ambition (4/6), Knockraha Boss (3/1), Chapter Two (7/1), Follow The Moon (16/1), Longhouse Music (16/1), Crookesmoor (20/1), He Knows My Name (25/1), Sliabh Mhuire Lass (25/1), Oscar Nomination (25/1), Just Wait And See (25/1), Senators Glory (33/1), Alice's Star (33/1), Sommerton (50/1)

Verdict

This should be pretty straightforward for the top point-to-point youngster BURNING AMBITION who has won his last four starts. Dual point-to-point winner Knockraha Boss finished second of nine in a Cork hunter chase last month and that performance put's him right in the mix here while Longhouse Music and Oscar Nomination could out-run their long odds to possibly hit the frame.
  1. Burning Ambition
  2. Knockraha Boss
  3. Longhouse Music
