Won a 6f maiden here (only course visit) and has since won over 7f at Carlisle. Ended the turf season with a series of respectable efforts and no surprise to see him get competitive on his return to the AW.
Five-time winner but current losing run now stretches 15 races, though wasn't beaten far from a 7lb higher mark on last 7f handicap start. Slightly below that form in a claimer over C&D latest.
Has never won anywhere but Newcastle (four wins) but respectable effort in defeat over C&D latest (better race) when not getting the clearest of passages. Remains of interest off his present mark (only 1lb above last win).
Just four 6f wins to show from 62 starts but has gone close on numerous occasions over this trip in the past. Remains in decent form despite being awkward leaving the stalls the last twice. Will need to be played late.
A 10-time turf winner who goes particularly well at Haydock and is better at 1m. Was making just a second AW start when beaten over 6L behind Fire Diamond over 1m here last month. Fair bit to prove.
Dual winner here, including over C&D, and finished a close-up fifth in this race 12 months ago from a higher mark. For all that, he hasn't been sighted for 11 months and his fitness needs to be taken on trust.
Prolific early on but just the one win in his last 28 starts, that success coming over C&D in April from a 3lb higher mark. Respected on that form but worse than mid-division last four starts.
Not unfancied when making a winning start over 6f at Windsor (good to soft) for Henry Candy in October, beating a few subsequent winners in the process. Interesting to see how he fares on his AW/handicap debut for a new yard.
Lightly-raced in Ireland and was claimed by current yard for €20,000 after a winning a 7f AW claiming maiden. Positive jockey booking for his British debut and opening mark may not prove beyond him despite a less than ideal draw.
Not had his head in front since scoring over 7f at Kempton more than two years ago and, despite a tumbling mark, he didn't show enough over C&D last time to suggest he's a winner in waiting. Cheekpieces reached for.

Windsor maiden winner Our Oystercatcher is the great unknown as he makes an AW debut over a new trip for Philip Hide but a lack of inexperience could easily catch him out around this tight turns. With that in mind, preference is for Iain Jardine's Irish recruit SMUGGLER'S CREEK who gets the notable assistance of Luke Morris for his British debut after a cosy victory in a Dundalk claimer last time. Rock Warbler, Right Action and Energia Flavio should also be in the mix.
