25/1 winner of a competitive 1m2½f handicap here last time despite being drawn on the wide outside. That a big improvement on recent runs so respected here under the 6lb penalty.
10lb higher now than C&D win two starts ago. Fifth of 11 latest off revised mark and suggest that is about his level here now with hike appearing harsh.
Veteran last won in August 2016 that over 2m. Handicap sliding but recent form not great and this probably on the sharp side for him.
Over two years since last flat win but won over hurdles this May. Eased 6lb now for latest eighth of 20 and returns to AW here where he is yet to win.
Handicapper eases the burden now after three midfield runs here over C&D. Below last winning mark so makes some appeal although others more compelling.
Won both starts to date for current connections, both over C&D. Runs under a 6lb penalty here but latest manner of success suggests that may not be enough to stop him and will take plenty of beating.
Off the mark latest at 15th time of asking when cruising to a 3L success over C&D. If that proves to be a sign of things to come this 7lb rise will be no concern so rates a big player today.
2017 form is quite poor but in three C&D starts last autumn, his only AW runs he won twice as well as finishing a close third. Still 5lb above latest win but return to this surface could help.
Unplaced in six starts for current yard. Best form in Britain useful but that over 7f. Steps further into unknown territory over this trip.
Maiden only beat one home on stable debut latest over 1m. This trip more to his liking based on past form but nevertheless hard to be enthusiastic.
C&D winner latest by 1L who here runs under a 6lb penalty. She looks to have a chance if handling the quick turnaround but was behind Rock On Dandy two starts ago and that rival again makes life tough.
Lone AW win for Lee Carter came in 2015. Back from a long layoff here for new connections and fitness has to be a doubt.

Forecasts
Rock On Dandy (11/4), Commander Won (4/1), Alcander (4/1), Repare Mon (6/1), Creeping Ivy (8/1), Sharjah (8/1), Shadagann (14/1), Flannery (20/1), Paddy The Celeb (22/1), Catchy Lass (25/1), Free Code (50/1), Takeitfromalady (50/1), Rising (50/1)
Four of these won last time and the quartet definitely make the most appeal. ROCK ON DANDY has the most compelling claims based on his back-to-back wins against horses with good recent AW records. Alcander's win is working out well so she may prove the biggest threat and has the benefit of a longer break between races than the other three running under penalties. Repare Mon is also respected and has a chance with the selection at the weights.
- Rock On Dandy
- Alcander
- Repare Mon
