Derby entrant who showed promise on debut at Nottingham before finishing second over C&D. Should improve again and has to go on the short list.
Signs of ability on first two starts before finishing third of 12 at Wolverhampton. This looks a stronger race and, although he is respected, he may do better in handicap company.
Nathaniel colt who fetched €250,000 as a yearling and hails from a family containing several winners. Price tag alone entitles him to scrutiny and any market support would be interesting.
Galileo colt who was well held on both starts for John Gosden. Tries his luck for a new stable and needs to show significant improvement.
Nathaniel colt who is closely related to the useful Space Ship and Pleiades. Plenty of stamina in pedigree and might just need this debut run, but represents a powerful stable and has to be worth a check in the market.
Cheap purchase, but hails from a top yard and has a fair pedigree. Ran on well once the penny dropped on debut at Southwell and should know more this time.
Mawatheeq half-brother to a middle-distance winner in Germany, he was last of seven on debut at Newmarket. Probably won't be seen to best advantage until handicapping.
Kitten's Joy colt out of a Group-placed mare. Needed the experience on debut at Wolverhampton and, although he should improve, others make more appeal.
Decent level of form in novice/maiden/handicap company, but has been unable to get hear head in front in seven attempts. Likely to go well again, but it would be surprising if at least one of these rivals were not superior.

Best Blue, Fleeting Freedom and The Jungle Vip set a fair form standard, but there are a couple of interesting newcomers in this, namely the Nathaniel colts Natch and MOOD FOR MISCHIEF. The latter gets the vote given he cost 50,000 gns as a foal, but then fetched €250,000 as a yearling. He must be an impressive physical specimen and has a pedigree to back that up.
