Cost €4,000 as a foal; €17,000 as a yearling and then £12,000 at three. First foal of a 2m hurdle/2m4f chase winner and has a nice National Hunt pedigree. Stable 1-3 in bumpers this season and in decent form, so a market check suggested.
Full-brother to two point-to-point winners out of a mare who was a modest fourth in a bumper and well held in 2m-2m4f chases. Stable yet to have its first bumper winner and he looks one to watch on debut.
4-1 and made a pleasing debut when a 4½L second of 10 at Wincanton (soft) last month. Wouldn't need to improve on that to have a big say here and any improvement would make him tough to beat.
Third foal of a 1m3½f and 1m3¾f Flat/ 2m hurdle winning half-sister to Italian Oaks winner Fashion Statement and useful 2m hurdle winner Ruler Of All. Nice pedigree and pedigree suggests he may handle conditions on debut. Market check advised.
Cost €25,000 at two, though dropped to €17,000 as a three-year-old. Full-brother to French winners over 1m7f/2m hurdle and 2m1f over fences. Related to other hurdle winners. Stable just 1-17 in bumpers this season but market check suggested.
Half-brother to 2m-2m4f hurdle/smart chaser Gemini Lucy out of a bumper-winning full-sister to 2m1f-2m5f hurdle/chase winner Jodante, out of full-sister to Jodami. Nice pedigree, stable 1-5 in bumpers this season and market check prudent.
Newcomer by King George winner Doyen is a half-sister to useful stayer Fight Commander. Suspect she may need further and this a tough spot to start off. Taken out of intended debut due to heavy ground.

Experience is so often the key to these contests and with that in mind the Anthony Honeyball-trained HIDEAWAY VIC gets the vote to turn a promising debut into success this time. In The Pipeline has the sort of pedigree that suggests that he could take a hand on debut, while the same can be said of Black Lightning. Wontstopmenow is another to keep an eye on in the market.
