Won twice as a novice last season including an impressive soft ground success at Ludlow over 2m5½f. Below par on return before falling when switched to chasing last time out. Close second off this mark on handicap debut last term so is capable.
Handicapper taken a grip since she won a valuable contest at Haydock although she ran well in third twice before a well below par effort last month at Wincanton. Going right way before that so no surprise if she bounces back.
Beat the useful Copper Kay on final start of last season in December. Midfield on return in her first handicap start at Wincanton. More needed but ought to have come on for that race.
Won over hurdles at Market Rasen before flopping as favourite at same venue on handicap debut. Better than ever on flat this summer however so no surprise if she proves competitive off this mark.
22L behind Secret Door in valuable Haydock race to end last season. Third on return in an ordinary contest at Southwell so more needed here and leading trainer having a quiet spell.
Won four times in handicaps including three times at Plumpton. Well beaten on return off career high mark and while she gets 5lb back today she still looks high enough at present.
Won two of her three starts to date with the latest in July at 1/7 in a poor race at Southwell. Cut in the ground an unknown but she could prove competitive in first handicap.
Good third in her opening handicap to end last season. Disappointing in two starts this term although both come on softer ground and looked unhappy latest on heavy. Surface more suitable here and with a 4lb ease we could see a big improvement.
Forecasts
The Wicket Chicken (7/2), Awesome Rosie (4/1), Ellens Way (4/1), Whatduhavtoget (9/2), Secret Door (9/2), All My Love (16/1), Loves Destination (20/1), Cascaye (25/1)
SECRET DOOR landed a valuable Mares contest last term at Haydock and ran well subsequently before a poor run last time which was out of character. A chance is taken that she can bounce back here. Whatduhavtoget is another who must bounce back having fell last twice but she has shown herself well capable off this sort of handicap in the past. Cascaye hasn't showed top form yet this term but the expected quicker ground might be the answer for her here.
- Secret Door
- Whatduhavtoget
- Cascaye
