Forecasts

Pickamix (7/2), Theatrical Star (4/1), Jennys Surprise (6/1), Shanroe Santos (8/1), Chef D'Equipe (10/1), Belmount (10/1), Lunar Flow (10/1), Orbasa (12/1), Pete The Feat (16/1), Hedgeinator (20/1), Cadeau George (20/1), Mustmeetalady (20/1), Coolking (20/1)

Verdict

PICKAMIX ran well to finish runner-up in a highly competitive amateurs contest last time out and he can go two better by taking this opening event. The selection has the ground and trip to suit today and with the useful Sam Waley-Cohen on board he can take this at the chief expense of Theatrical Star who ran well at Taunton last time and hails from the in form Colin Tizzard (7/35) stable. Of the remainder Shanroe Santos ran a decent race in first time blinkers last time and can claim third today.
  1. Pickamix
  2. Theatrical Star
  3. Shanroe Santos
