Made an inauspicious start over fences until her third run at Huntingdon last time out, which saw her 7L second over 2m7½f (good). Stable back among winners this week and she may be capable of better now from the same mark.
Made the frame a couple of times for Sam Thomas but was unable to win until having first run for this trainer at Taunton (2m7f, good) last time, when a 21L scorer. Runs under just a 7lb penalty here and a repeat effort would give him strong claims.
Showed some ability in the spring and was in the process of running a good race when unseating at Kempton in May. Out of sorts since, but has slipped to an attractive mark if he could get back to his spring form. Market check probably prudent.
Best effort so far was on handicap debut over hurdles at Ffos Las in March, when a 13L third from a mark of 105. Beaten 30L on reappearance/chase debut at Taunton (3m2½f) last time. Now 3lb lower and dropped a little in trip, he is not ruled out.
It's four years since his sole win in an Irish bumper and he has been unable to produce anything encouraging in the past two years for this yard. Sliding in weights as a result, but takes a leap of faith to side with him after an eight-month break.
Placed several times from similar marks to this at trips from 2m4f-3m1½f, but one-paced in the closing stages, so keeps finding something to beat him. Stable's runners in good nick, but whether that can eek out the necessary here remains to be seen.
Best effort over fences was his most recent run a year ago when a 21L third at Fontwell (3m1½f, good). Dropped 5lb ahead of this reappearance and stable among the winners, so an improved effort is possible. Market check suggested.
More Than Luck (1/1), Dontminddboys (3/1), Limoncello (9/1), Cup Of Ambition (10/1), Midnight Gem (10/1), Dylanseoghan (20/1), Zigger Zagger (33/1)
Another moderate affair and given the wide margin of his recent Newton Abbot win MORE THAN LUCK is taken to follow-up under his 7lb penalty. Midnight Gem represents a yard that recently ended a losing run and could do much better this time around, while Limoncello, Dontminddboys and Dylanseoghan are others who merit consideration to pick up a share of the prize money.
