Sole win came two years ago but he was in contention when coming down two out last time. That was over 2m4f and this may be on the short side for him.
Third at the Listowel festival and claims on that form. Well beaten in four Flat starts since and the market should be informative.
Scored with a bit in hand over C&D a month ago. Well beaten at Thurles a week later but he is probably a few pounds better on this circuit.
Sligo chase winner in August and has been mixing disciplines since. Noted making ground from well off the pace last time and mark is beginning to look more reasonable. Cheekpieces are tried for the first time.
Record of 2-33 and has gone two years without a win. Well beaten over fences on debut for this yard recently and plenty to prove.
Showed some promise on hurdling debut but regressed thereafter. Not seen since May when tailed off in rear over C&D.
Sole win came on better ground than this and recent performances have failed to reveal any progress, despite a falling mark.
€48,000 purchase who has shown little so far. Potentially better than we have seen now dropping in trip and making handicap debut.
Generally disappointing in five starts last season but showed signs of encouragement on seasonal debut in Wexford handicap hurdle when finishing seventh of 14 beaten 5¼L. Shouldn't be underestimated in first-time hood.
Supported when not having the best of luck in running last time. Usually gives her running and weighted to be in the thick of the action once more.
A shock 50/1 winner at Limerick in May 2015, but perhaps no surprise he's not threatened to build upon that success since. Likely to improve for his latest run, but still has a lot to find.
Inconsistent mare whose Ballinrobe fifth in September has been followed by two dire efforts since. Handicapper showing no mercy and hard to fancy at present.
14-race maiden who was sent off favourite on her return last month. Pulled up early after her saddle slipped and respected on her Cork second in March.
Improved display last time and would probably have finished second but for his rider losing an iron after the last. 3lb lower in the weights this time and looks a serious contender.
Not much to shout about in two point-to-point and four hurdles outings. Needs to take a huge step forward if he is to be competitive.
Forecasts
Bay Hill (4/1), Scotch Quay (6/1), Musical Ava (8/1), Neddyvaughan (10/1), Lady Of The Sea (10/1), Jazz Ranger (10/1), Rock On Lilly (12/1), Tintown Robin (12/1), Simiel (12/1), Dundeedy Lad (12/1), Loupgarou (14/1), Black Ice (14/1), Kentucky Lass (20/1), Accordion Twilight (20/1), The Jam Man (25/1)
Musical Ava is better than her form figures suggest and usually runs to a level that would be good enough to land this. However, there may be more to come from SCOTCH QUAY who produced a career best last time and is now 3lb lower in the weights. Course specialist Tintown Robin and Rock On Lily are other possibilities, whilst a market move for Neddyvaughan would make him one to fear.
- Scotch Quay
- Musical Ava
- Tintown Robin
