Fast becoming regressive and has shown little in the way of worthwhile AW form. Possibly might've needed his first run back from a break at Yarmouth in October, and a poor Southwell effort is often excusable, but makes no appeal whatsoever.

Knocking at the door over 6f to 7f on synthetics with some regularity since October. Clearly strongest in low grade handicaps, and slightly questionable over 5f, but this race is a shocking maiden, so has obvious claims.

Went under by just a neck over 5f on the Fibresand at Southwell last month (beaten by Know The Truth). Wouldn't be a filly to set the pulses racing, but seems to handle Tapeta, so clearly in with a shout.

Finished third in a 6f Leicester seller on her second start in April, but she's proved expensive to keep with just the sole start since (at Lingfield last month). Wears cheek-pieces on her first try at 5f.

Looks well and truly a lost case based upon her five efforts since returning from 12 months off in August. Has an official rating of just 20. No chance.

Forecasts

Dream Revival (8/11), Irish Sky (3/1), Excellent World (6/1), Oh So Dandy (8/1), Kirkby's Phantom (100/1)

Verdict

With all due respect to connections, this race must rank as one of the weakest AW maidens of all time with Oh So Dandy top-rated with an official BHA mark of just 54. The best advice is for a watching brief, but one of the five horses will be a maiden no more come shortly after 7pm, and the somewhat forced selection is DREAM REVIVAL. She is a reliable filly at her own level, and whilst slightly vulnerable over 5f, she should be fine against these weak rivals. Excellent World is just about the most convincing of the remainder.
  1. Dream Revival
  2. Excellent World
  3. Irish Sky
