Verdict

All eyes will be on Toast Of New York on his return to action from a three year absence. The Breeders' Cup Classic runner-up would be in a different league to these judged on that effort, but obviously the effects of what had appeared a career ending injury need to gauged here. Intern is another with something to prove after a shorter, but none the less significant break. David Simcock's charge is suited to fast surface and had the useful Frankuus behind in third when runner-up in Sandown's Classic Trial in April. Mr Scaramanga is capable of taking this if returning to his best and seeing out this longer trip. PETITE JACK has something to find on form if some of these run to their best. However, his love for this track and proven wellbeing tilt this contest in his favour and he looks the most straightforward option.
  1. Petite Jack
  2. Intern
  3. Toast Of New York
