Record of 9-89 and 2-9 here. Has been unreliable on occasions this year but put up one his better efforts at Newcastle last week. Had a hard race then and he looks the type to remember it.
Won three times over C&D earlier in the year and finally falls to his last winning mark. Has a bit to find on recent form but a drop in grade should help and a market move would be significant.
Twice a winner for this stable in his previous spell with them but failed to win in six starts for Jane Chapple-Hyam. Better on first run back for this yard but appeared not to handle this track on only previous visit.
22-race maiden who produced one his more moderate efforts last time. Performed creditably on only previous visit here but remains a risky option..
Both career successes have come here and he shaped well two weeks ago having dropped to his last winning mark. Clearly a contender if reproducing that effort.
Modest 1-20 record but suited to slow surfaces and connections will be hopeful he adapts to this surface. Without a win since 2015, but three good runs lately under this rider have indicated his turn might be near.
On a poor run at present and has dropped a stone in the weights since August. AW record stands at 0-20 and hard to recommend here as a result.
Both victories have come at Wolverhampton, but he has run some good races in defeat around here. Yet to prove he goes this far but on a fair mark if he does.
Winner of five races at her prime but largely disappointing since moving to current yard. Well beaten in a seller last time and makes little appeal in this company.
Forecasts
Tellovoi (11/4), Swot (7/2), Ubla (5/1), Luath (6/1), Shearian (10/1), Tasaaboq (10/1), Ravenhoe (12/1), Inshaa (12/1), Italian Beauty (20/1)
Tellevoi bounced back to form last time, but he would not be one to rely on to reproduce that effort. Swot is hard to win with but has promised to gain a second career win soon. He will need to prove his effectiveness on this surface, as will Ubla who was tailed off here on New Year's Day but is now in better form. Luath reserves his best for this circuit and promised to be winning soon last time having dropped to his last winning mark. SHEARIAN is another who goes well here and landed a C&D three-timer last winter. He is down to his last winning mark and a drop in class could see him back in the winners enclosure.
- Shearian
- Luath
- Swot
